1. Afrasiab University is a non-state higher education institution operating on the basis of license No. 056369 dated December 30, 2022, issued by the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
2. Afrasiab University (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) is a non-state higher education institution engaged in educational activities for the implementation of basic and additional higher education programs, and also provides higher education services consisting of academic, pedagogical, scientific-methodological, and other activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
3. In its activities, the Institute is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law "On Education" and other legal norms related to non-state higher education, as well as resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions, and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, relevant requirements of the regulatory legal documents of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and this Charter.
4. The Institute is a legal entity. It has its own special property under operational management and is liable for its obligations within this property; on its own behalf it may acquire property and exercise property and non-property rights, assume obligations, and act as plaintiff and defendant in court.
It has an independent balance sheet, settlement and other accounts in banking institutions, including foreign currency accounts, a seal with its own name, stamps, and other requisites.
